Goldy : Customized strat done for me by Eric Short. All Gold hardware American Strat. Made in 2000.



Goldy	Muffy The Frankencaster or Mufficaster

Muffy : Dubbed Muffy or Mufficaster by Ray, it having something to do with the Big Muff pedal which I use with CFZ. Dubbed Frankencaster by Scott Beckwith who did all the wiring. 2 kickin 74' strat pickups and a stacked humbucker with some switch that shuts it on/off. Cousin Dupe painted her Black and helped me install the neck.
I did not know about Bob Weirs guitar until after Muffy's neck was purchased on eBay. LOOK AT BOBS. Notice the designs on the necks. Weird.

GEAR:

I got the idea for the POD and the Tone Tubby speakers from Weir's setup. It's a pretty basic setup. I only use 4 or 5 different settings. I'd love the Carvin amp like my Fender if it would stop catching on fire (2 times now, the last thing you want to hear when you are a gearhead....."whats that smoke coming from your rig?").

Speaker Cabinet : Gold on Black of course. Built by Tone Tubby. 2 X 12" Alnico Hempcone Speakers. Yep, if you blow them up you can smoke them up. I liked the idea that Weir used these speakers, then I found out Santana, Clapton, REM, Los Lonely Boys, Steve Kimock all used them.....well you get the picture. This Cab is sweet sounding.
